Electronics & Telecom Manufacturing Summit 2021 is a one-of-a-kind annual event organized by the Manufacturers' Association for Information Technology (MAIT) that provides a platform for industry leaders, government representatives, and subject matter experts in the electronics sector to discuss challenges, opportunities and provide a road map to not just make India a global hub for electronics manufacturing but also an export giant.

The electronics industry in India has emerged as one of the most significant growth contributors to the Indian economy. The electronics industry is listed as a priority sector under the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' movement. The sector has undergone an evolution from being primarily a consumption-driven market to the one with the manufacturing capacity to cater to local and overseas demand.

The theme of the 2021 summit "2030 The Decade for Electronics Hardware in India" aims to discuss the way forward to enhance the domestic value addition through a robust local supplier ecosystem that will further India as an export hub for the world. The platform will provide an open platform to address the common challenges faced by the players in the electronics industry ecosystem- policymakers, global and domestic companies in electronics manufacturing and, logistics & supply-chain industries.
