Exports-led Manufacturing

“National Policy on Electronics 2020 (NPE 2020) envisages to promote domestic manufacturing and exports in the entire value system of Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) in order to create a $400-billion electronic manufacturing ecosystem by 2025.
In order to achieve this target, it is essential for both Indian and global companies to build trust and work together to develop an effective electronics manufacturing ecosystem in India backed with overall support from Government of India in terms of incentivization of large scale domestic manufacturing in the country and policy support for facilitation of exports of electronics goods manufactured in India.
The Governmental support in terms of input imports regulations and duties, better production factory to port connectivity, faster custom clearing will help in motivating manufacturers to "Make in India" with focus on domestic as well as global market.
With this background, MAIT is organizing "Electronics & Telecom Manufacturing Summit" on April 22 & 23, 2021 to bring together all the stakeholders on a common platform to discuss boosting the manufacturing of electronics products in India”
